Jan 12, 2011. #1. FOX T2 Hacking? Hi everyone, I'm new to the Humax brand, does anybody know if the firmware can be hacked or modded in any way? On search google I found some old sites that refer to hacking old Humax satelite boxes or old PVRs that use the .hdr firmware and also some tools, but they are probably years out of date by now.

Not available for the HD Fox-T2. This version of the custom firmware contains the stock Humax kernel and wireless driver and can be used if you experience problems using the customised one. Followed the instructions to the letter, the HD FOX-T2 recognises the USB stick but it just puts up a menu, it won't start the download procedure. Leave the USB stick in, unplug the unit (or switch it off at the socket), with the standby button held down plug it back in (or switch it back on).
