Most launchers outside of steam don’t come with pro controller or playstation controller support. You’ll have to use software like DS4Windows (not sure of the equivalent for the pro controller) to emulate an Xbox controller as they are the only ones natively supported on Windows. If you have a good graphics card you can increase the picture quality or if not you can just put the default settings . I recommend a USB or wired controller too . Go to Steam games Library, find Crash NST -> properties -> verify files integrity. At least twice. Now start it. use only Steam Library cause steam desktop links always be broken for entire 18 years. Make sure game work on 60 FPS - not higher. Moreover, for Time Trial probably better switch it to 30 FPS in settings. No unlimited FPS for any game!
